I’m Caitlin, a toddler mom who calls the island of Madeira home. Along with my husband and toddler, I’ve set out on a mission to explore every trail on this beautiful island. Madeira is magical and a great family-friendly holiday destination, but most blogs about Madeira love to highlight the death-defying cliffs, the strenuous hikes, or late-night festivals. All of which are out of the question for my family!

That’s why I decided to launch Madeira For Kids. Currently a major work in progress, this blog will become a one-stop shop for all your family-friendly Madeira questions.

Although it’s the blogging trend to write articles about everything, I pride myself on giving honest, actually useful information. Guides about specific hikes are only uploaded after I’ve hiked them with my toddler/baby. If you can’t find a specific hike, check out this blog about the most popular hikes on Madeira.
